Description
As operators progress from primary exploration to field development, spacing and stacking of wells plays an important role in determining how best to maximize resource recovery. In this presentation we will share details/learnings from a 9-well pad that was drilled and completed amid parent wells that had been subject to modern style completions.
Numerous challenges were encountered during the completion phase, with every facet of the stimulation process being affected, ranging from stuck plugs, casing failure needing a patch installed, perforation issues, and lastly multiple fishing events.
At the end, we will look at the well deliverability results and engage in a discussion with the audience on learnings from the experience.
