Registration Cancellation Policy

 

REFUND POLICY

Registration and payment must be completed in full to guarantee attendance. An individual with an incomplete or unpaid registration will be considered as a walk-in attendee and only admitted as space permits. 

No refunds will be processed if an attendee does not attend the event. No refunds will be issued if the request for cancellation is sent within 48 hours of the event. Any substitutions in lieu of cancellation will be honored only if within the same organization in the same calendar year. 

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the organizer of the event with proof of registration. Please allow up to 30 days to process the refund, less the processing fees incurred, back to the original payment form. We do not offer cash or check refunds.  

You may elect to donate your registration to our SPE-GCS Scholarship Endowment Fund. All donations are tax-deductible and go towards our annual scholarships that provide financial assistance to engineering, math, and science students to aid in the development of their future careers in the energy industry. Study Group and Committee Event Organizers

  • Please contact your group treasurer to submit a cancellation refund through Nexonia

  • Once approved, the registrant will receive their refund to their card in 3-5 business days

Cancellations by SPE-GCS

SPE-GCS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event without prior notice. SPE-GCS will endeavor to make session cancellation decisions prior to the event date. SPE-GCS is not responsible for any penalties incurred for cancellation or change of event logistics.
