Kenn currently leads NBD and A&D for Americas Upstream and Integrated Gas with a focus on deepwater. Since joining Shell in 2002, Kenn has held several commercial leadership roles and has initiated and closed several material growth and divestment deals.


Prior to joining Shell, Kenn started his career with Chevron in California and subsequently worked for three other companies (including Enron) in New Orleans and Houston.


Kenn is a graduate of UC Davis and UC Berkeley where he earned a BS and MS in structural engineering. He has mumble mumble years of technical and commercial experience in the energy industry. Outside Shell, Kenn is an avid big game hunter and a leader in wildlife conservation.

Jason Kivett is a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Pickering Energy Partners (PEP), launching its traditional energy practice with a focus on Upstream.


Prior to joining PEP, Jason was a Managing Director at Barclays where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, led the technical acquisition and divestiture team, and advised on a range of public and private financings. Primarily covering upstream and oilfield services clients, he also worked on a variety of midstream transactions. He started as an Associate at Lehman Brothers.


Jason holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an AB in Economics from Princeton University. He is a Marine Corp veteran with multiple combat deployments to Iraq and lives in Houston, Texas.

Since joining Wood Mackenzie in 2012, Costa has worked on a range of projects across the unconventional and conventional space with NOCs, Private Equity firms, Investment Banks, Majors, IOCs, and oilfield services companies.


Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Costa was at Maersk Drilling based in Copenhagen, where he managed projects ranging from operations to strategy.


Costa holds a Master of Commerce from The University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Engineering (Photovoltaics) from The University of New South Wales.
