Description
The workshop is designed for both seasoned oil and gas professionals as well as those new to the industry with an interest in deepwater developments. Engineers and managers responsible for deepwater structural and facilities design and installation, planners and economics specialists will benefit. The focus of this workshop is planning for de-commissioning and abandonment of deepwater upstream oil and gas projects, with a view to possible re-deployment strategies.
This one day event will bring together professionals focusing on all aspects of deepwater de-commissioning and abandonment, from technical to economic. It will capture the spirit of open discussion and exchange of ideas present in weeklong SPE forums, while covering major issues and future possibilities of deepwater facilities abandonment and re-deployment. SPE will send CD-ROM’s of the complete set of presentations to attendees following the workshop.
