Description

There are many challenges to consider when designing the completion of an unconventional reservoir. This presentation will share the importance of perforating techniques, designs, and their impacts on the overall hydraulic fracturing process. Examples of limited entry strategies and current thoughts the appropriate values for coefficient of friction and perforating erosion will be shared. Additionally, case studies will be reviewed highlighting the importance of fracture diagnostic evaluations as well as potential options to reduce overall cost implications.
