Description
The first step towards real-time drilling optimization is a reliable data acquisition and processing system. This includes the ability to receive and process data of different frequency and merge it with contextual data to be able to run analytical and physical models at the edge. In this presentation, we will review the implementation of such a system on more than 15 drilling rigs in North America. Given the developed infrastructure, automated modeling and calibration in real-time are available at the rig site and back in the office which enhance the reliability and repeatability of results and also contribute to time/cost savings.
