Description

This event is sold out and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you missed out this year, we hope to see you next year!

Every year, the Society of Petroleum Engineers-Gulf Coast Section (SPE-GCS) organizes the Permian Basin Symposium (PBS), a one-day conference focused on professionals in the upstream, to discuss current state, best practices and emerging technologies deployed in the most prolific and active basin in the US.

With the recent downturn, our industry has been forced to develop new and innovative ways to economically produce oil & gas. In its twelfth year, PBS aims to provide a platform to discuss and disseminate latest innovations and technological advances that drive Permian Basin resurgence despite the challenging market conditions, as well as networking opportunities for engineers, scientists, academia, managers and financial executives. PBS 2018 will be held on April 12, 2018, at the Norris Conference Center-CityCentre and we expect over 300 participants. Supporting the current market climate, this year’s theme is Permian: Challenges and Opportunities in a Cyclic Oil & Gas Industry.

Immediately following the symposium, there will be a networking reception from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM at The General Public, 797 Sorella Ct Ste 118, Houston, TX, 77024.
