YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PRESENTS:

4th ANNUAL JOINT KICK-OFF SOCIAL

The SPE-GCS Business Development Study Group and SPE-GCS Young Professionals are kicking off the 2017-18 season with our fourth annual joint social at Prohibition. Come out, enjoy great food and company and hear what the groups have planned for the season, including an update on the mentoring program. Whether you are starting off in the industry or an experienced professional, this event is a chance to network with a diverse group in A&D, finance, engineering, geoscience and land.

We plan on pairing up Mentors and Mentees. If you are a young professional in the oil & gas industry, there will be senior leaders with 10+ years of experience looking forward to a mentor-mentee relationship.

This event is $10 and is limited to the first 200 registered guests. Please register now to reserve your place. The registration fee includes food and drinks. We hope to see you there!

H2O Midstream partners with producers, traditional midstream companies and oilfield service providers to improve the efficiency, reliability and safety of water operations while lowering costs across the entire value chain. On average throughout North America, 6 barrels of water are produced alongside each barrel of oil, although this ratio can be much higher depending on the geology of the region. Water logistics are a critical area of focus for producers. Water related costs typically comprise between 10%-30% of a well’s up front capital expense and can represent 50% or more of the operating expense over the life of the well. H2O Midstream provides the full spectrum of midstream energy capabilities to enable the efficient management of water in upstream oil and gas operations and to reduce the high costs of water logistics. By viewing water as a commodity rather than a waste, we create long term value for all parties through a midstream approach to structuring contracts, managing risk and implementing industry leading standards for reliable operations, maintenance, safety and environmental compliance. We are currently focused on acquiring, building and operating water midstream assets including gathering systems and transmission pipelines as well as treatment, storage and disposal facilities. Collectively, our team brings a successful track record building and operating gas, oil and water infrastructure over the past 35 years.

We have engaged in private energy investing since 1992. With over $8 billion in capital raised, we manage a series of investment partnerships dedicated to private equity financings for high-growth exploration and production and midstream companies. Our investment philosophy is to provide high-quality, return-driven management teams with the growth capital necessary to execute on clearly-defined business plans that can generate value across diverse commodity price environments. With an unmatched level of in-house technical and capital markets expertise, we are in a position to deliver a unique, value-added working partnership to each of our portfolio companies. We invest principally in privately-issued common and preferred securities of primarily private companies. Our target investment size is generally $50 million to $200 million but we can arrange larger financings through our extensive network of co-investors. We can hold majority or minority stakes, and typically have significant board representation on our portfolio companies.
