Commodity hedging has been much maligned in the past few years, blamed for
everything from contributing to the early 2008 acceleration of
commodity prices to worsening the global economic downturn. Superior information
is your best defense against unfounded fears and is critical to improved
risk-management. This presentation will feature an introduction to hedging
concepts while focusing on the positive and negative implications of oil and gas
hedging practices and the potentially significant implications on 2010 activity
levels for North American oil and gas E&P companies.
