Description

This "up-to-the minute" presentation will provide the attendee a better perspective and understanding of the impact of the current financial crises on the oil & gas industry.

Mr. Gebhardt will provide his "insider's view" of  the current economic crisis - its potential depth, breadth and duration.  The lack of liquidity and the impact on financing large energy related projects and the collapse of commodity prices will also be discussed.

      Bruce Gebhardt is a partner in Pathfinder Capital Advisors LLC which he founded in 2001.  Pathfinder is a unique privately-owned investment bank.  Pathfinder focuses on raising capital and providing structuring and advisory services for clients, generally in energy-related fields. Pathfinder has been involved in approximately $1 billion of tax credit monetizations and most recently advised the Louisiana Public Service Commission on the $965 million Storm Cost Recovery Bonds associated with the damage to Entergy’s distribution system. His firm also assists certain hedge funds in evaluating energy-based transactions.



Mr. Gebhardt has a successful twenty-five year track record in energy finance having been involved in over $75 billion of debt and equity issuances, include many first-of-a-kind transactions. His previous employers include J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch & Co., UBS Securities and Bank of America Securities. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (minor Petroleum Engineering) from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University. Prior to graduate school, he was a process design engineer with a major petrochemical company and worked offshore Louisiana during summers in engineering school.
