• Recruiting at six high schools across the Greater Houston area
• Fairs geared toward students, parents, teachers and counselors
• The purpose of the SPE-GCS fairs are to encourage careers in petroleum engineering
industry and disseminate information on scholarships
• Each recruiting stop includes a 30-minute program of speakers which will discuss
a variety of perspectives, including recent grads and industry leaders
• In the past five years, universities recruiting in fairs have included: Colorado
School of Mines, Louisiana State University, Marietta College, Montana Tech of the
University of Montana, University of Oklahoma, Penn State University, Texas A&M
University, Texas A&M University at Kingsville, Texas Tech University, University of
