My favorite college memory was being selected for SPE and other academic scholarships, and feeling supported and encouraged to pursue my career goals. My career has included working in diverse environments around the world, and I've had many opportunities to work on challenging projects incorporating new technology. The SPE scholarship was a generous gift that brought me into a successful career in Petroleum Engineering. I was able to fully focus on my studies during college, and become better connected to SPE professional activities. My advice to students is to get excited about the possibilities of a career in Petroleum Engineering and appreciate the resources that are available in this industry.
