General Field Engineer
Based in Houston, as General Field Engineer I lead drilling and logging operations in the field, analyzing real-time data and work with client, operations management, and stakeholders to understand business problems. Emphasis on identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, implementing standard work, and managing risk in the field. Overall duties could be classified by the following:
- Analyze real-time data from downhole equipment and adjust drilling parameters to improve operations performance.
- Identify and mitigate shocks, vibrations, stick-slip, drag, and other anomalies observed while drilling using data visualization.
- Run drilling simulations and estimate hydraulics, torque, and drag of bottomhole assemblies using Schlumberger DOX software.
- Workforce Coordinator: Interim role where I developed a relational database and PowerBI report for Personnel Management.

Field Engineer
Performed Directional Drilling and Measurements While Drilling services in different countries across America at the rig site.
- Supervised and inspect the installation of the surface data acquisition modules, including proper wiring of analog/digital sensors, groundings and data streaming using Schlumberger technology eSAM, WITS, InterACT, Maxwell and HSPM.
- Promoted to Field Engineer I, Field Engineer II and pioneered in Field Engineer DDx program where combined Measurements While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD) and Directional Drilling activities at rig site.
- Applied data engineering techniques and generated deliverables for downhole logging data.
- Field Quality Manager: Served in an interim role accountable for supervising quality engineers, conducting failure investigations and interpretation of data. Also, developed remedial work plans to avoid future incidents.
