Member Anniversary

Dear SPE-GCS Members,

It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every member of the SPE Gulf Coast Section on reaching a significant milestone. This year marks 90 years of our section’s affiliation with SPE International. As one of the oldest and largest sections globally, this achievement is truly extraordinary.

Our sustained success is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our members who generously volunteer their time and expertise to advance SPE’s mission. Your invaluable contributions have established the SPE Gulf Coast Section as one of the most active and vibrant sections within SPEI. I extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed to our journey. Your efforts ensure that we remain at the forefront of the industry, and I look forward to many more years of success together.

Lastly, I extend my deepest appreciation for your unwavering commitment and partnership with the SPE-GCS Scholarship Endowment Fund (SEF), which provides financial assistance to engineering, math, and science students to aid in the development of their future careers in the energy industry. To date, SPE-GCS has awarded over $5 million in student scholarships to more than 800 students. Last year alone, the section provided over $170,000 in student scholarships. Thanks to your support, SEF ensures that we will always be able to fund an adequate number of scholarships, even during industry downturns.
