Graham Mensa-Wilmot, P.E., is Drilling Engineering Technical Director at XCIDRILL Technology. He has more than 36 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. He recently served as Chevron’s MAXDRILL (Drilling Optimization) Global Team Lead, having previously worked in engineering, research, and applications positions of increasing responsibility at Smith Technologies (now Schlumberger). Mensa-Wilmot is an acknowledged industry expert in the development of Holistic Solutions for Cycle time and operational cost reductions for all asset classes - Deepwater, Conventional, Geothermal, and Unconventional. Mensa-Wilmot has authored numerous technical papers and holds several patents, primarily focusing on applications interpretation, field practices, drilling technologies, strategies, and processes that enhance operational efficiency. He is an SPE Distinguished Lecturer, previously served as drilling dynamics and Drilling Optimization lecturer for Petroleum Network Educational Conference (PNEC) series, and SPE Distinguished Member Inductee. Mensa-Wilmot serves on the SPE/IADC drilling conference committee, SPE Gulf Section Advisory Board, and the IADD Board.
