She recently completed a post-graduate programme in Sustainable Business at University of Cambridge which included a research project on the subject of this talk. Alison is the Net Zero Chair of the London SPE Section and recently joined a geothermal start-up as their Chief Subsurface Engineer.

Speaker #2 Bio: Thomas’s work experience spans 30+ years of commercializing products for startup companies. After 10 years in the legal industry, Thomas transitioned to technology in 1989.  She has been involved in 13 startup companies spanning the globe, industries, and technologies. Thomas is responsible for delivery of i2k Connect’s Artificial Intelligence platform within the Energy industry. The i2k Connect AI Platform powers the Society of Petroleum Engineers Research Portal, embedded AI in Schlumberger’s DELFI and sold direct to Operators. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from University of Phoenix. She mentors Young Professionals, volunteers with Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and with SPE-GCS Sporting Clays Event raising scholarship funds.
