Biography
Eric is an Application Engineer with Siemens Energy (SE) based in Houston, TX. He currently works in SE’s Compression Business in the Natural Gas/LNG Capital Projects Team, where he has responsibility to configure engineered-to-order solutions for greenfield projects in the oil & gas industry. Most notably, his recent work includes decarbonization of the energy value chain through process efficiencies and equipment design innovation.
Previously, Eric worked in Proposal Development with Dresser-Rand prior to the SE acquisition in 2015, where he developed feasibility studies and turbomachinery configurations for large-scale LNG projects. His career began with TAS Energy as a mechanical and project engineer, involving design and manufacture of custom equipment for the Gas and Power sector.
Eric holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, MBA from the University of Houston, and maintains a Professional Engineer license (Texas).
Eric served as Treasurer and Chair of the SPE-GCS Scholarship Committee from 2016 to 2021 and currently serves as Chair of the Education Committee.
