Biography
Bill Davis has achieved a successful 37 year career as an oil and gas professional with Sperry Drilling, which is a division of Halliburton. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Bill moved back to Texas and entered the oil and gas industry. During his career, he worked in land and offshore field operations, technical training and global direct sales. His work with Sperry Drilling has taken him to over 20 countries, and has allowed him to experience many diverse and amazing cultures. He is a long-time volunteer with the Society of Petroleum Engineers and he has served in several positions on the Gulf Coast Section board of directors. He is married and is the father of three grown sons. He likes to spend time with family, traveling, going to the movies, working in his shop and enjoying the outdoors.
