Biography
Alexsandra (Alex) Martinez is a project Reservoir Engineer at DeGolyer and McNaughton. She currently works in the North America division, supporting projects related to integrated assessments of unconventional reservoirs including field development studies, due diligence, completion evaluation, well performance analysis and forecasting, and estimation of prospective and contingent resources. She holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Alex joined the SPE Gulf Coast Section Board of Directors in 2019 as the Communications Committee Vice-chair. Prior to that role, she served in SPE-GCS as the Chair of the Reservoir Study Group, and with the Texas A&M Student chapter through various leadership roles including philanthropy co-chair and vice president. In addition to her role in the SPE-GCS, Alex has been part of the technical committee of the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC) since 2018, supporting the selection of conference papers, chairing technical sessions during the event and development of mobile app for conference.
