Technical talk by Douglas Frisby

Title : Successful AI will need more than just great AI

Abstract :

Material business impact from AI is achieved only through sustained adoption that leads to real business transformation. History tells us that having a great technical or digital solution is not enough, and that there are other critical factors impacting successful transformation. Therefore, what are the specific and tangible actions that need to be taken to ensure that the full value of your AI Solution is realized.

This presentation reviews some of the specific questions and tangible actions that are often overlooked in the creation of a successful AI solution, using real examples.

· Who are the users and how are they engaged?

· What is the stakeholder map?

· Where will there be resistance?

· When to start engagement with users, stakeholders and resistors?

· How to operationalize and measure the AI solution?

· What is the role of change management?

You will need to be aware and engaged in these activities even if you need some additional skills and resources to achieve delivery. How your time and resources are allocated will be an important factor in the uptake and impact of your AI solution. Hopefully this will provide some pointers to help you enhance the impact of your AI solution.
