Drilling-“Current State of Extended Reach Drilling”
Extended reach and complex well technologies continue to develop and set new benchmarks in the industry. Critical to the success of these programs are the design and operational practices and the systematic approach taken to the well''s construction. This talk will present a current state of the industry with respect to complex well technologies and describe in some detail the practices and processes that are being used to design and successfully implement these difficult wells. Finally, this talk will conclude with a discussion on the forward requirements that must be met in order to see these technologies continue to develop.
