Barriers to Implementation of Real Time Operations Analysis

The SPE Real Time Operations Technical Interest Group (RTO TIG) is interested in learning more about the barriers to implementation of real time operations technology. We would appreciate your input.

The questionnaire is in two parts. The first asks about the overall process of effective implementation. The second probes the usage of technical and business analysis tools

A summary of the results of this survey will be presented at the annual SPE meeting this fall in San Antonio.

Part I – RTO Implementation Process

Effective utilization of RTO involves a process of gathering and analyzing data, making recommendations and decisions and taking action. Perhaps the process is working smoothly everywhere, although we expect there are some snags somewhere. Your help in providing the following information will give the RTO TIG the insight to where along the process the current difficulties lie.
